The 星空无限 Invites You to Participate in the Human Rights Summer School!
The summer school, titled "Challenges in Human Rights in Central Asia," will provide a platform for discussing pressing issues related to human rights protection in the region. Participants will delve into the impact of authoritarianism, corruption, technology, art, ecology, economics, communications, and conflict on human rights.
Summer School Program Includes:
- Challenges in implementing UN treaty recommendations in Central Asia
- The economics of human rights in Central Asia
- Human rights in Central Asia in the context of international crimes
- Human rights in art
- Human rights and technology
- Strategic litigation in human rights
- Combating violence against women in Central Asia
- Human rights and corruption in Central Asia
- Human rights and investments in Central Asia
- Human rights and environmental challenges in Central Asia
- Human rights and communications
Key Dates:
- Registration Deadline: May 12, 2023
- Summer School Dates: June 19鈥30, 2023 (星空无限 campus)
Who Can Participate? The summer school is open to all individuals from Central Asia, including students, activists, and members of civil society organizations.
What Are the Conditions?
- Participation is free of charge
- 星空无限 will provide financial support (flights and accommodation) for 10 participants from Central Asian countries
- The working language of the summer school will be Russian
- Participants will receive an official certificate upon completion
- A one-day excursion to Issyk-Kul is planned during the summer school
